LPN/RN (Nursing Staff)
Full-time: 40 hours/week & Part-time: Less than 30 hours/week positions available. All positions require availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Overview:
The LPN/RN at Residential Treatment Services of Alamance (RTSA) will provide comprehensive nursing care across all programs, including detoxification, crisis stabilization, and the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. This role includes overseeing client admissions, administering medications, managing the intake process, and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols. The LPN/RN is responsible for monitoring residents' health, responding to medical emergencies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans. This position requires proficiency in medical documentation software, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Licensure: Must be a licensed LPN or RN in North Carolina.
• Experience: Prior experience in addiction treatment, mental health, or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Driving:Valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Attributes: Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed or on a rotating schedule. For individuals recovering from substance use disorders, a minimum of two years of continuous sobriety isrequired.

This role involves conducting detailed assessments, developing individualized care plans, linking clients to essential resources, and ensuring seamless coordination of services. The Care Coordinator will facilitate transportation to appointments, engage in outreach efforts to build partnerships with other agencies, and support client access to care.
Recruitment Standards:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Background in social work or a related field is preferred.
• Driving: Valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Skills: Excellent communication and empathy skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
